Politique éditoriale
Comment BiteCal utilise les sources, calculs et informations produit.
Le texte original de l’article est en anglais.
Qui publie ces pages
BiteCal publishes this website. Content is prepared with AI assistance and source checks. Organization attribution does not mean a named dietitian has independently reviewed every page, and these pages do not provide individual medical advice.
D’où viennent les données nutritionnelles
Food guides identify their USDA FoodData Central records, edible portion and preparation state. Many references are from SR Legacy, April 2018. They describe historical reference foods, not a current laboratory test of your meal. For a packaged food or restaurant item, prefer the current label for the exact product and serving.
Comment fonctionnent les portions et estimations photo
A weighed portion is calculated as grams multiplied by kcal per 100 g, divided by 100. A hypothetical ingredient example is labeled as an example, not a tested recipe. Photos cannot establish hidden oil, exact gram weights or a product label; review estimates before saving them.
Comparaisons d’applications et mentions de produits
Comparisons use the public product sources listed on the page. Features and subscription terms can change. We do not describe public documentation as independent laboratory testing. BiteCal operates this website and its own product is mentioned commercially; full app access requires a subscription as described in the store listing.
Mises à jour et corrections
A page date is not the date on which its food was tested. Source dates and preparation descriptions remain important. We keep existing URLs when correcting information and do not invent reviewer credentials, ratings, prices or experiment results.
