Inputs stay in this page. Estimates are for adults; pregnancy, breastfeeding, eating disorders and medical conditions need individual advice. A calculator does not prescribe an intake or predict a weight-loss date.
How this calorie deficit calculator works
Scenario intake = estimated maintenance calories − selected deficit. Weekly energy difference = daily deficit × 7.
Worked example
An estimated maintenance level of 2,200 kcal and a 250 kcal daily deficit produce a 1,950 kcal intake scenario and a 1,750 kcal weekly energy difference. That arithmetic cannot predict an exact change in body weight.
Use the estimate in your daily routine
A number becomes useful when you can compare it with what you actually eat. BiteCal helps reduce manual entry with AI meal-photo estimates you review before saving. Keep the reference calculation separate from your actual logged meals; neither a formula nor a photo guarantees exact intake or weight change.
