Inputs stay in this page. Estimates are for adults; pregnancy, breastfeeding, eating disorders and medical conditions need individual advice. A calculator does not prescribe an intake or predict a weight-loss date.
How this protein calculator works
Daily protein grams = body weight in kg × selected grams per kg. Per-meal example = daily grams ÷ 3.
Worked example
At 70 kg, 0.8 g/kg gives 56 g/day; a 1.6 g/kg exercise planning factor gives 112 g/day. Dividing 112 g between three meals gives about 37 g per meal; equal distribution is optional.
Use the estimate in your daily routine
A number becomes useful when you can compare it with what you actually eat. BiteCal helps reduce manual entry with AI meal-photo estimates you review before saving. Keep the reference calculation separate from your actual logged meals; neither a formula nor a photo guarantees exact intake or weight change.
